Welcome Rockhounds! This is the Antioch Lapidary Club's official site! The ALC is located in Antioch, California and
is dedicated to education and conservation of our resources. Although our club takes field trips out into the field to collect
precious and semiprecious stones, we also make sure to respect both the land and the wildlife that has to share space in the
area.
We're constantly under construction, so don't be surprised if things are empty for a little while. Please let us know if links
don't work or if you are unable to access a part of our site and we'll fix it up as soon as we can!
The Antioch lapidary Club presents its 50th Annual Rock and Gem Show from 10am to 5pm Saturday, February 20th and
Sunday February 21st at the Contra Costa County Fairgrounds in Antioch, CA. Our show theme is "Treasures of the Earth 2009".
We will have demonstrations of Lapidary Arts, Dealers of faceted stones, lapidary tools, findings, hand made jewelry, rocks,
beads, supplies, opals, fossils and minerals.<p>
Admission is $3 per person; Active Military with ID and Spouse, Scouts in uniform and kids 12 and under are admission
"Free".
